gemma campbell
Gemma Campbell is a current student at McNeese State University in Lake Charles Louisiana, majoring in Music Performance and minoring in Piano Performance where she is a recipient of the MSU Music Department and Strings Excellence scholarships. She studies cello with Dr. Michael Buckles, harp with Rebecca Todaro, and piano with Dr. Lina Morita.
Campbell is a freelance musician, performing for numerous weddings, funerals, and in large ensemble concerts. As a student at McNeese State University, she performs on harp with the Wind Symphony—the university’s premiere wind ensemble.
She is also an avid educator, whose studio contains piano, cello and harp students. As the beginning strings instructor for the Francis G. Bulber Youth Orchestra, she teaches the Petite Sinfonietta I class of violin, viola, and cello students, conducts their ensemble, and arranges music for the group. Campbell is passionate about educating the youth and spreading the gift of music to the masses.
